Saturday 11 September 2010 Churches and Chapels on the Air (CHOTA) from 10am to 5pm
From 10 am we will be on HF and the 80m bands for Churches and Chapels on the Air Day. It provides an excellent opportunity to promote WACRAL and show to the visiting public Amateur Radio at its best. We have a special event callsign for the day so come along and go on the air. All are welcome. You have heard of lighthouses on the air, mills on the air, and even mines on the air, so here is Churches and Chapels on the air (CHOTA).

Friday 10 September: 2pm to 5pm Saturday 11 September: 10am to 4pm
Sunday 12 September: 1pm to 5pm, Songs of Praise 6pm Methodist New Connexion Church 1896. Arts and Crafts influenced stained glass, St Margaret window. Commemorative plaque to William Booth founder of the Salvation Army. Historical memorabilia. Flower Festival.
